Digital Denture Prodution Process
1. Digital Design
Upon receiving the intraoral scans from the clinician, our team begins the design process, creating a custom digital model of the denture tailored to the patient’s anatomy and clinical requirements.
2. Manufacturing
The completed design is sent to a centralized milling or 3D printing centre, depending on the type of denture and material selected. This is getting done at our sister lab, Ashford Ortho.
3. Initial Processing & Fit Verification
Once the physical denture is returned, we carefully remove any manufacturing supports and verify the fit against the printed models to ensure accuracy.
4. Finishing & Final Adjustments:
After all necessary adjustments are made, we proceed with the final finishing steps, which vary depending on the type of denture:

Polishing: For a smooth and natural finish.

Polishing, Staining & Glazing: To enhance aesthetics and achieve a lifelike appearance.

Individual Characterisation: Performed by our skilled technicians, this step involves applying composite layers for enhanced detail, followed by staining and glazing for a highly personalized result.
